Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, soooo I thought, what a great time to talk about fears.  I mean we all face them, right?? I know I certainly have. 

I really find it fascinating that so many people think they are alone with their fears. I would like to banish that thought by sharing with you that at some point in our lives, we all feel challenged with fears around not being good enough, not being pretty/handsome enough, not being talented enough, not being smart enough, not being loved, taking risks, being broke, a failure and maybe even becoming a success!

Feeling Overwhelmed???

Curious?  How are you feeling at the end of the day?  Anxious? Stressed? Overwhelmed? Exhausted?
If you are feeling any of those emotions, you certainly are not alone.  To tell you the truth, most of my clients felt that way when they first came to me for coaching.
 
I started coaching a client (let's call her Jennifer).  She is a manager in a food services department, a mom of three children below the age of eight, a volunteer for many organizations, and a loving wife.  I'm sure you can imagine how hard it was for her to balance her job, family and volunteer work.  Before she started coaching with me, she often felt very stressed, especially when "life" would throw her a curve ball.

Choosing Fear or Connecting to Love

Homemade Chai

Oh my! How I love homemade chai especially on these chilly fall evenings! Although tastes differ, I have found this combination to be my favorite:  I love, love the following recipe! Enjoy!
 
Brew a strong cup of your favorite organic black tea, and once it steeps for 2 or 3 minutes, add:
  • 1 or 2 drops of Cardamom
  • 1 or 2 drops Cinnamon
  • 1 drop Clove
  • 1 drop Black Pepper
  • Add in whichever type of milk you prefer, such as coconut, almond, hemp, or organic dairy.
It’s truly delicious and you are getting incredible benefits for all the warming essential oils which are also great for digestion. Clove oil has also been used for thousands of years for teeth & gum health!
