Meet Joanie

Hi, I'm Joanie Yanusas, a certified professional life, relationship and retreat coach. I absolutely love my profession and love sharing what I have learned with the world. My passion is to guide people to listen to their own inner wisdom, to create what they feel is the absolute "best version" of themselves.
I believe in people. I believe that if you really want to make changes in your life--which may mean making sacrifices and committing to very hard work--I believe it will create true love, joy and peace for you.
My life has been some traditional, some road less traveled, with unexpected changes and challenges.
And, I believe these challenges are a blessing--really opportunities to learn and grow, ultimately leading to a richer life.
I grew up in the Midwest and spent many summers in New England.
College, wife, teacher, mom and home-school mom of 3 gorgeous, creative and brilliant children.
Cancer, dissolution of a 29-year relationship. I wasn't sure I had the capacity to create a different, worthwhile life.
My vision got blurry and I felt like I was sleep walking. I spent a lot of time alone, mostly in nature, asking for clarity for my next path. I received the answer while hiking with a dear friend--become a life coach!
A month later, after some research and phone calls, I was enrolled in my first coaches training class. After the first hour, I knew I was home. It was knowing that all that had happened in my life happened for a reason.
Through coaching, I am able to combine my love of people, truly seeing, believing in each person's magnificence, and not ever being afraid to really challenge anyone. I am able to share my passion for teaching and guiding others to find their purpose and passion to live life to its fullest.
I am ready to share that passion with you!
